Build services terms

Every build starts with a written quote listing the deliverables, the price, the delivery window and anything explicitly excluded. Agreeing to that quote — by ticking the boxes at checkout and paying — forms the agreement for that piece of work.

At the moment you agree, we record a fingerprint of the scope you saw. If the scope is edited afterwards, the fingerprint no longer matches and the change is visible to both of us. Nothing about what you bought can be quietly rewritten later.

To build what the quote describes, to the standard a competent professional would produce, and to deliver it within the stated window.

If a build is going to be late, we tell you before the date passes, with a revised date and the reason. Silence until after a deadline is not an acceptable way to run a build and we do not do it.

To supply the content, access, approvals and answers the build needs, within a reasonable time of being asked. A build cannot proceed on assumptions about your business.

To hold the rights to anything you give us — copy, images, logos, data — and to accept responsibility if you do not. We will not knowingly ship someone else's material into your company.

If a build stalls waiting on you for more than 30 days, we may pause it and re-schedule delivery when you are ready. Nothing is deleted and nothing extra is charged for the pause itself.

Work not described in the quote is new work. We will tell you that it is out of scope, what it would cost, and how it affects the delivery date, before doing it — never after.

Small clarifications inside the existing scope are just part of the build and are not billed separately.

A defect is a delivery that does not match the agreed scope. We fix defects at no cost, and there is no limit on the number of times we will fix the same one until it is right.

A revision is a change of mind about something that was built as agreed. Your quote states how many revision rounds are included. Beyond that, revisions are quoted as new work.

On full payment, you own the deliverables outright — code, copy, brand assets, configuration and documentation produced for your company. We assign those rights to you and keep no claim on your business.

We retain ownership of our own general tools, internal libraries and methods that predate or sit outside your build. Where any of those are embedded in what we deliver, you get a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to keep using them as part of the delivered work.

Third-party components carry their own licences. Anything with a licence that would restrict how you use your company is named on the quote before you agree to it.

Hosting, domains, paid APIs and similar services are yours, registered in your name wherever possible. If we pay for one on your behalf it is itemised on the quote. We are not responsible for a third party's outage, price change or terms change, though we will tell you when one affects your build.

What you tell us about your company stays between us. We will not disclose your unlaunched plans, your figures or your customers, and we will not use your build as a public example without asking you first.

Build work is paid per order against a quote. Payment is processed by our payment provider acting as merchant of record; we never see or store your card details.

Refunds and cancellation are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which gives you a 14-day window and pro-rata refunds on work not yet delivered.

We use AI tooling, including Aury, as part of how we work. Output is reviewed by a person before it reaches you, and we remain responsible for the delivery either way. See the AI & Autonomy Disclosure for what that means in practice.

We are liable for delivering the work described in your quote. We are not liable for the commercial outcome of your business — whether the company succeeds, whether customers buy, or what a market does.

Except where the law does not allow it to be limited, our total liability for any build is capped at the amount you paid for that build. Neither side is liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Either side can stop a build with written notice. You are refunded for work not delivered, per the Refund Policy, and everything produced up to that point is handed over. We would rather end a piece of work cleanly than carry it badly.

The governing law and venue for these terms are pending confirmation while Aurygine's operating entity is being established. Until that is settled and stated here, nothing in this section is asserted, and any dispute is handled first by talking to us at support@aurygine.com.
